Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, account data, or usage analytics. The app has no login, no user accounts, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
How the App Works
The app downloads greeting images and a small listing file (manifest) from our server at quoteswithmeaning.com over a standard, unauthenticated HTTPS connection.
A copy of that listing is cached on your device (using local device storage) so the app still works offline. This data never leaves your device and is not linked to you personally.
Standard web server logs on our hosting provider may record IP addresses and request timestamps for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any website.
Device Permissions
Photos / Media Library access — used only when you tap "Save to gallery," to save the selected greeting image to your device's photo gallery. We do not read, upload, or access any other photos on your device.
Sharing — used only when you tap "Share," to hand the selected image to another app you choose (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram, Messages). We do not see or store what you share or with whom.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Expo's app update infrastructure (Expo/EAS Update) to deliver bug fixes without requiring a manual app store update. This service may process basic technical information (such as app version and device platform) as necessary to deliver updates, in accordance with Expo's own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
