Many people have told me the United States was founded on a Jewish/Christian foundation of the Bible. In my study it is more than a faith foundation, and if you search the scriptures, or what Jesus said you will find the United States it is actually the opposite. The Jesus way is about emptying oneself rather than taking more. I call the American Dream "The Culture of More" because it is best described a way of life that seeks to take as much as it can. It is an easy way of doing something because the natural tendency of humans is self-centeredness.
